Its been a while since I'm blogged, I'm not much of a blogger really. But I really want to record the fact that I'm going to be succesful in my fitness and weightloss journey.
It's only in the past week I've gained some motivation, I'm doing Shannan Ponton's 8 week challenge and I sort some support from the forums last week. Which is the best thing I've done to get my head in the right space.
I've also been googling some stuff, mainly Jillian Michaels. I discovered she has become a mother through adoption and also her partner has had a baby, gorgeous kiddies especially her 2 year old daughter, adopted from Haiti. Anyhoo, I heard about her 30 day Shred years ago and vowed to learn more about it, but didn't.
Yes, Shannan does have an Exercise Plan to follow, but for some reason I just find it painful to watch the little instruction videos on my laptop and do them.
So, I got hold of 30 Day Shred and started it, I've only done 2 mornings, getting up at 5am (pat on back for me) and I love it. What I love about it? The workouts are only about 25 minutes, it's mainly weights, which I need cause I won't do weight unless I'm training with someone, I get really bored doing weights. But watching Jillian makes it alot easier. I struggle a bit as the only hand weights I have at the moment are 5kg (11lb) each....OMG, my arms are so sore. I do have some smaller weights which I loaned to my Mum, I don't think she is using them, so I'll get them off her this weekend. I think they are 3kg (6lbs) each.
I'm supplimenting the 30 Day Shred with interval training on my tready, just to boost my calorie burn.
I'm blogging at work (so naughty), so I don't have my before measurments with me, but I'll definately post them and I have some before photos too, although I'm not sure I'm confident enough to post them atm, might just wait til I've completed the 30 Day Shred and post them then.
